THE UNIVERSITY posted a 44.47-percent passing rate in the recent civil engineering licensure exams, results from the Professional Regulation Commission showed.
Seventeen Thomasians passed out of 38 examinees. This was a drop from last year’s 71.43 percent, in which 35 made the cut out of 49 examinees.
De La Salle University-Manila was named top-performing school with a passing rate of 81.90 percent, or 86 successful examinees out of 105.
Hishiam Sacar from Far Eastern University-East Asia College topped the list of examinees with 94.60 percent.
The national passing rate rose to 44.48 percent, or 2,514 successful examinees out of 6,998 hopefuls.
This was higher than last year’s 38.17 percent, in which only 2,245 passed out of 5,881 examinees.
