THE UNIVERSITY posted a 72.17-percent passing rate in the November 2022 licensure examinations for civil engineers, with 223 out of 309 Thomasian examinees passing the test.

UST’s passing rate however decreased from 85.39 percent or 165 out of 192 examinees in May 2022.

Carl Magtira of the University of the Philippine Los Baños topped the examinations with a score of 95 percent.

The University of the Philippines-Diliman was named the top-performing school after posting a 95.45-percent passing rate or 105 out of 110 examinees.

The national passing rate for civil engineers dropped to 39.34 percent (8,029 of 20,407 examinees) from 42.35 percent (5,836 of 13,781 examinees) in May.
