THE UST Miguel de Benavides Library will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Monday, Feb. 20, as more students stay on campus for face-to-face classes.

The library, which is open from Monday to Friday, previously imposed a one-hour noon break from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. when it reopened to students in August.

Students who intend to visit the library must be enrolled and have completed the health declaration form through the Thomasian Online Medical Support and Services (ThOMedSS) website.

Minimum health and safety protocols, such as wearing of well-fitted face masks and physical distancing, must still be observed.

Outside researchers still need to secure a permit from the prefect of libraries or the chief librarian to visit the library.

In the pre-pandemic setup, the UST Library operated from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
