THE UST College of Education graduated 592 students during its commencement exercises at the Philippine International Convention Center last March 25. The graduates came from the following programs: Education (19 cum laudes and one magna cum laude), Food Technology (seven cum laudes), Nutrition and Dietetics (one cum laude), Hotel and Restaurant Management (nine cum laudes), and Tourism (31 cum laudes and four magna cum laudes).

Jared Christian Ramos led Batch 2002 as valedictorian while Michelle Frances de Guzman led the batch in the address of petition as salutatorian.

Gracing the occasion were Fr. Juan Ponce, O. P., UST Vice-Rector and Regent of the College; Dr. Clotilde Arcangel and Dr. Jose Espiritu, Dean and Asst. Dean, respectively; Prof. Loreto Sauz, College Secretary; Prof. Nenita Caralipio, Grade School Principal; Prof. Honorata Dayao, Education High School Principal; and Prof. Cecilia Tio Cuison, Prof. Evangeline Timbang, and Prof. Cecilia Bahrmi, department chairs of Tourism, HRM, and FT/ND, respectively.

Prof. Ernestus Padilla served as master of ceremonies.
