THOMASIAN quiz wizards emerged first runner-up in the recently concluded National Science, Invention and Technology Quiz Bee last November 22 at the Central Exchange Mall in Pasay City. Biology junior Michael Rico Mesina and Political Science sophomore Wilfred Ritona bested 20 other universities to place behind UP Los Banos in the final round.

The event, sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, consist of questions in science, inventions, technology and mathematics. The UST team easily advanced to the elimination round to lead by a wide margin the eventual second runner-up PUP College of Science. John Ferdinand T. Buen
