THE UNIVERSITY emerged as one of the top-performing schools in the March 2017 nutritionist-dietitian licensure examination, while a Thomasian was named topnotcher.
The University posted a 100-percent passing rate with all its 88 examinees passing the test, results from the Professional Regulation Commission showed.
UST shared the top spot with the University of the Philippines-Los Baños.
Leading the new batch of nutritionist-dietitians was Thomasian Pauline Catrina Vizcarra, who had a score of 87.95 percent.
Other Thomasians in the top 10 included Cherubim Cauzon Barranda who clinched the second spot with a score of 87.85 percent, and Anavrin Faye Mejia who landed on eighth place with a score of 86.75.
Kimberly Guarte Lucas shared the 10th spot with Daniellie Felice Lopez of UP-Los Banos, after registering a score of 86.55 percent.
This year’s national passing rate was 72.11 percent or 755 passers out of 1,047 examinees.
