THE UNIVERSITY placed first on the list of top-performing schools in the January 2022 licensure examinations for architects, with 124 out of 141 Thomasian examinees making the cut.

UST posted an 87.94-percent passing rate in the examinations.

Ateneo de Davao University was the second top-performing school after notching an 82.69-percent passing rate or 43 passers out of 52 examinees.

Shaunn Remzzo Blanco of National University in Manila led the newest batch of architects, scoring 83.50 percent.

The national passing rate slipped to 62.13 percent or 1,370 out of 2,205 examinees, from last year’s 65.96 percent or 560 out of 849 examinees.

The 2022 architecture board examinations were held on Jan. 21 and Jan. 23 at testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
