A THOMASIAN ranked second in the July 2022 interior designer licensure examinations, in which UST tallied a higher passing rate than the national average.

Patrick Uy clinched the second-highest score nationwide, 86.85 percent, to lead the new batch of Thomasian interior designers.

Marjorie Dizon ranked eighth with an 82.90-percent score, while Alexis Sze secured the ninth spot after scoring 82.80.

UST’s passing rate declined to 67 percent (67 of 100 examinees) from 78.48 percent in 2019. 

The passing rate was slightly higher than the 65.68-percent national average.

Ira Cayanan from the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman topped the examination with a score of 88.25 percent.

UP Diliman was the only top-performing school, posting a score of 92.86 percent, or 26 out of 28 examinees. 

The examinations were conducted in Metro Manila and Cebu testing centers from July 5 to 7.
