UST dominates Nursing boards

27 June 2014, 8:15 p.m. - THE UNIVERSITY dominated the recent Nursing licensure examination, with 23 Thomasians landing in the top 10, including first place.

UST posted a 99.55-percent passing rate with 446 passers out of 448 examinees, results from the Professional Regulation Commission showed. This was higher than last year’s 99.04 percent.

18 Thomasians top Nursing boards

08 July 2013, 2:32 p.m. - THE UNIVERSITY ranked fourth in the recent nursing licensure examinations, with 18 Thomasians entering the top 10 list.

UST posted a 99.04-percent passing rate this year, with 411 passers out of 415 examinees, data from the Professional Regulation Commission showed. This was slightly lower than last year’s 99.33 percent, wherein UST ranked third among the top-performing schools.

West Visayas State University-La Paz, Cebu Normal University and University of the Philippines- Manila were named top-performing schools this year after getting 100-percent passing rates.

UST dominates board exams in Med Tech, Med, Nursing

UST has again proved that it is the country’s top producer of professionals, following the recent Medical Technology, Physician, Nursing, and Guidance Counseling licensure examinations whose Top 10 lists were dominated by Thomasians.

The University was named second top-performing school in the Med-Tech exams after recording a 95.36-percent passing rate, with 267 passers out of 280 examinees. This was slightly higher than last year’s 94.32 percent wherein 249 of 264 examinees made the cut.

Leigh Di Avril Agdeppa led the new batch of Thomasian medical technologists as she ranked second with a 91-percent score.

Tomasino, nanguna sa Nursing board exams

23 Agosto 2012, 4:35 p.m. - NASUNGKIT ng isang Tomasino ang unang puwesto sa June 2012 nurse licensure examinations, ngunit bumaba sa ikatlong puwesto ang UST sa naturang pagsusulit.

Pinanguhan ni Roxanne Trinity Lim ang mga bagong nars sa bansa matapos magtala ng markang 86.20 porsiyento.

Samantala, bahagyang bumaba sa 99.33 porsiyento ang passing rate ng Unibersidad. Ikatlo lamang ang UST sa listahan ng top-performing schools.

Mas mababa ang bahagdan ngayong taon kumpara noong 2011 nang magtala ang UST ng passing rate na 99.79 porsiyento at naideklara itong second top-performing school.

UST, pumangalawa sa Nursing board

Agosto 20, 9:17 p.m. - PUMANGALAWA ang UST sa mga top-performing schools sa Nursing Licensure Exams noong Hulyo, kung saan nakakuha ito ng mas mataas na marka kumpara noong nakaraang taon.

Nagtala ang Unibersidad ng 99.79 porsyentong passing rate, kung saan isa lang sa 469 na kumuha ng pagsusulit ang ‘di pumasa.

Mas mataas ang porsyentong nakuha ng UST ngayong taon kumpara sa 99.34 porsyentong passing rate noong nakaraang taon, kung saan pumangatlo lamang ang UST sa listahan ng mga top-performing schools sa bansa. Tatlo sa 454 na kumuha ng pagsusulit noong nakaraang taon ang ‘di nakapasa.

Limang kolehiyo humataw sa board exams

NAMAYAGPAG ang mga Tomasino sa katatapos lamang na licensure examinations para sa Architecture, Nutrition and Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Nursing, at Medicine.

Sina Ramil Tibayan ng Architecture, Paola Suarez ng Nutrition-Dietetics, at Melissa Paulita Mariano ng Medicine ang tatlong bagong topnotcher ng UST na nagtala ng 84.10, 89.95, at 88.17 porsyentong grado.

Sa 12 pumasok sa Top 10 ng Medicine, anim ang nanggaling sa UST. Ito ay sina Mariano, Erick Mendoza na may 88 porsyentong grado; Katrina Mae Gamponia (87.67 porsyento); Joseph Villanueva (87.17 porsyento); Ricky Hipolito (87.08 porsyento); at Hebert Manaois (86.92 porsyento).

Dalawampu’t anim na Tomasino naman ang nakapasok sa ika-lima hanggang ika-10 puwesto sa Top 10 ng Nursing board exam.

Wala mang topnotcher ngayon, ikinatuwa ni Glenda Vargas, dekana ng Nursing, ang resulta ng eksamen.

UST improves rating in Nursing boards

THE UNIVERSITY posted an 89 per cent passing rate in the Nursing Licensure exams last December as 34 of 38 Thomasian examinees passed. The national passing rate was 49.1 per cent.

Only one Thomasian examinee from the fraud-marred June 2006 exams took the December exam.

Despite improving its passing rate from last June’s 83 per cent, UST failed to enter the top 3 performing schools in the 30-99 examinees category. No Thomasian also made it to the top 10.

UST, bumandera sa board exams

MULING namayagpag ang mga Tomasino sa Nursing, Nutrition, at Pharmacy licensure examinations noong Hunyo at Hulyo.

Sa 388 na estudyante mula sa Unibersidad na kumuha ng Nursing exams, 372 ang pumasa. Mula sa 95 porsiyento noong isang taon, nakakuha ang UST ng 95.87 porsiyentong antas ng pagpasa.

Nursing registers worst board results

THE COLLEGE of Nursing has suffered a considerable drop in its passing rate in the Nursing licensure examinations— from 99.7 percent last year to 92. 3 percent last June. The passing rate is the College’s lowest in 54 years as only 300 out of 325 passed.

Last year, 334 out of 335 examinees passed the board exams.

Despite the decrease in passing rate, 18 Nursing alumni made it to the Top 20.

NAGTALA ng 98 porsyentong passing rate ang UST sa Nursing licensure exams noong Hunyo, upang tuluyang ibaon sa limot ang mababang 83 porsyentong nakamit nito noong isang taon sa kontrobersiyal na pagsusulit.
Samantala, nakuha ng mga Tomasino ang pang-apat, -lima, -anim, -pito, -walo, at -siyam na pwesto sa Top 10.
Napakadramatiko ng resultang pinakita ng UST sa eksamen, kung saan halos 600 na Tomasino ang kumuha, kasama ang mga naunang kumuha noong isang taon na nagdesisyong dumaan muli sa pagsusulit upang alisin ng bahid ng maanomamalyang eksamen noong 2006.

LATEST
