  1. Bale anong punto nito?

  2. The Dominicans who were who maltreated Jose Rizal were the “Spanish” Dominicans. At present, almost 90% of the Dominicans were Filipinos. So meaning to say, the situation is different now compared during the Spanish era.

I think UST is just clarifying some issues about Jose Rizal’s relationship on UST. Please don’t make any further issues regarding the matter

  3. “Please don’t make any further issues regarding the matter” …mahirap hindi pag-usapan kung naging masaya ba si Rizal sa UST o hindi kasi ginagamit din ng university si Rizal sa promotion (eg in instilling sense of belongingness to its students). kung ayaw natin na maging issue ito, the university should stop using the name of Rizal para wala ding magcomment kung naging masay na sya o hindi. Marami ng nagbago ngayon sa UST, we should be happy for these positive changes, pero it is unacceptable to change history…kalokohan yan. Rizal liked Ateneo better than UST.

  4. Pls refrain from trying to stop people or institutions from writing about ideas or opinions as this is the reaon why we as a country remain underdeveloped. Masyado nating hina- hamper ang mga ideas ng mga iba as if we’re always right and their ideas are inane or stupid. Just let them speak out their minds and read with an open mind rather than be hysterical when you don’t concur with a different viewpoint. We also give the impression that we’re intellectually arrogant by not having an open mind whenever we encounter differring ideas. Let’s just all keep our cool as we express aggreement or disaggreement on certain matters brought into our attention.
